Usage:

With Outlook Web Access you can access your mailbox from almost anywhere in the world. Please remember after using Outlook Web Access on a publicly accessible PC that data and email fragments might remain on the PC. Therefore please remember after using Web Outlook Access to always log off using the "log off" button and if possible to always delete temporary internet files. On some PCs this is automatic. If you are not sure, please ask your internet provider.

Security:

The Outlook Web Acess page is equipped with a security certificate which guarantees that the data connection between publicly accessible PCs and the GW network is always encripted.Normally the browser trusts this certificate and you receive no further information about it. The connection is encripted when the yellow padlock symbol appears in the bottom right corner of your browser. In some cases (depending on your browser and operating system) you may receive a warning message. Should this happen, please verify the certificate details. The certificate was issued by A-Trust (a-sign-SSL-03) for GW (mail.gw-world.com). If both entries are correct, you can ignore the warning and accept the certificate. If something different is written in the field "issued" please contact your Reg-EDV.
For securtiy reasons, please do not leave Outlook Web Access unsupervised. Pleae log off during interruptions. You can simply log on again.

Data Format:

Not all data formats are supported. If the internet PC has the correct file viewer, all office documents can be shown without any problem.

Browser language:

The language in Outlook Web Access depends on the language set in the browser. If, for example, in your mail client the in box file is shown as "in box", it will also be shown as "in box" in Outlook Web Access, even when the rest of the website is in another language. This cannot be changed.

Pop-up Blocker:

Pop-ups may be blocked by a pop-up blocker.
To rectify this, you could allow the URL mail.gw-world.com or *gw-world.com in the pop-up blocker. You do not need to deactivate the pop-up blocker. You will find the settings in Explorer under the menu point "extras".

Access token:

Never give your token to a third person or party, as this would enable them to have unlimited access to your email data.
